Nursing Assistant
Your Path to Compassionate Care Begins Here Today as a Nursing Assistant Training
What is a certified nursing assistant?
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides personal care and other tasks that make sure patients are well-cared for and comfortable, and provides support to other healthcare professionals. CNAs check vital signs, keep patients clean, and provide other important parts of patient care, usually under supervision of a nurse.
Where do certified nursing assistants work?
CNAs can expect to work in hospitals, skilled nursing settings, rehabilitation settings, acute care settings, private homes, private doctor’s offices and more. CNA is also a great start to a healthcare career path if you are interested in becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
How do I become a nursing assistant?
CGTI’s Nursing Assistant class is 120 in-person training hours and includes classroom lecture, skills lab training, and a clinical experience. This class prepares you to take the Arizona state exam and become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). It is accredited by the Arizona State Board of Nursing (AZBN). Be prepared to take the exam in as little as five weeks!
