For Employers
CGTI produces excellently trained caregivers, offering a reliable solution for
employers seeking skilled professionals to meet the industry's rising demands.
Demand for skilled workers
In our community and across the country, we are facing a critical shortage of trained frontline healthcare workers. With workforce challenges across the industry, our goal is to support both future healthcare workers and their employers by offering value pricing enrollment packages.
At CareGiver Training Institute, we train Certified Caregivers and Certified Nursing Assistants to assist people in their homes and in facilities with activities of daily living, monitoring of medical concerns, and medication administration and management, as their level of training and certification allows.
Our graduates are highly skilled workers who provide the capable and compassionate care our community and our loved ones need and deserve.
Today, there are 4.6 million frontline healthcare workers in the US. Between 2019 and 2029, the entry-level healthcare workforce will add an estimated 1.3 million new jobs – more new jobs than any other single occupation.
Including high rates of turnover for the field, it has been estimated that long-term care employers will need to fill 7.4 million job openings in direct care from 2019 to 2029 (PHI National).
CGTI helps grads succeed
The hands-on training and individual instruction CareGiver Training Institute provides our students results in quality, skilled workers who are more likely to remain in both the field and any given job longer. Our training programs are designed to address barriers that might prevent students from enrolling, offering flexible courses with plenty of support both before and after graduation.
Experts say that increasing the number of caregivers, enhancing training and education, and facilitating career advancement are some of the best ways to address the workforce shortage (Leading Age). CGTI’s programs go beyond basic requirements for certification to give our graduates a full set of skills and knowledge that will make them not just better caregivers, but better and more fulfilled employees who see caregiving as a meaningful career and for some, the first step on their healthcare career journey.
