CNA PLUS - $3,250.00

CNA plus Caregiver is approved by the Arizona State Board of Nursing and the NCIA Board for graduates to earn Nursing Assistant and Caregiver Certificates and then sit for the state exams. Classes include: Skills, Body Systems, Basic Knowledge, Nutrition and Cooking, People Skills, Death and Dying and Clinical. This course is 198 hours in length and can be completed in 6 weeks of day classes (8:30 am to 3:00 pm) or 12 weeks of evening classes (5:30 pm to 8:30 pm). This prepares you for work in long term care, hospice, hospitals, assisted living industry, and home care.

Supplies include: Stethoscope, BP cuff, Gait belt, one set of scrubs, CNA Textbook, Supplemental Text Book, End of Life book, and Skills Manual.

Both state exams are included in price.

CAREGIVER - $650.00

Caregiver fulfills all requirements for the NCIA Board to earn a Caregiver Certificate and sit for the state exam. Classes include required courses in: Caregiver settings, legal and ethical issues, communication and interpersonal skills, job management skills, understanding service plans, infection control, nutrition, fire safety and emergency measures, maintaining a comfortable environment, basic caregiver skills, mental health and special needs care, cognitively impaired care, restorative skills and activities, medication training, and skill lab. 111 hours that will be offered during the day and/or evening. This prepares you for work in the assisted living industry and home care.

  • 115 hours total. Day Class – 3.5 weeks.

Assisted Living Manager - $650.00

$650 (includes all manuals and $125 fee for state exam with Headmaster). Payment must be made in full by check or credit card by the start of the first class. After successfully graduating and passing the state exam, student may register to take the final Arizona NCIA Board Certification Exam ($300 to be paid by student).

The ALM training program is 40 hours of classroom instruction. The course will be held on five consecutive Wednesdays, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm on the following dates:

  • First Class
  • January 16 - Resident Services Management (8 hours)
  • January 23 - Personnel Management (8 hours)
  • January 30 - Medication Management (8 hours)
  • February 6 - Legal Management (8 hours)
  • February 13 - Financial Management (4 hours) & Physical Environment Management (4 hours)
  • Details:
  • Must pass state exam 75% or better
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma/GED
  • 2080 hours of verifiable paid experience in the healthcare industry within the past 5 years
  • Caregiver Certification dated on or after August 2013. Proof of Caregiver Certification waived for Arizona licensed MD, DO, RN, and LPN
  • Birth certificate, passport or other proof of citizenship
  • Current fingerprint clearance card
  • Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification
  • Current First Aid Certification
  • Current negative TB test

Bridge – CNA to Caregiver

This 24 hour course provides those who have an Arizona CNA certificate in good standing to take a modified class to earn their Caregiver Certificate. This class includes Assisted Living Orientation, Service Plans and Medication Management.
